Day +6

I really miss going to Barnes & Noble! I miss my coffee, my cozy chair to sit and read, and I miss ALL the people watching. I remember last transplant, the time went much faster…I feel like today should be day 30 already. This is boring. Better boring than exciting, because at this point “exciting” would probably be bad news.

Counts for Day +6
WBC 1.0
RBC 3.45
HGB 10.6
PLT 29

Everything is low but it should be starting to come up soon. Around day 14 hopefully, the cells will be returning. I probably will be getting platelets in a few days, but is normal. Day 15-30 will be critical to watch to see if the counts come up which would mean that grafting is happening! Appetite is good, even with these awful mouth sores. It is good that I am able to maintain my weight, haven’t lost but a pound or two. So that is a good thing.

Now let’s talk about something fun. Teal is in SPAIN! How fun is that? He has a friend that is studying This semester in Sevilla. He will spend 4 days there, 4 days in Barcelona and then the rest in Madrid.. Russell and Miguel went with him and there is another girl that is touring with them. Oh, to be in Spain during Holy Week. God bless them and bring them home with safe travel.

Love and God’s blessings to all!
T.

With Palm Sunday past, and Easter next…this scripture is so fitting. Enjoy the rest of Holy week, and know that for me, I believe: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
