Tomorrow is the big day. Transplant Day~not really so much. I have been feeling crummy for a few days now. The true feeling of the chemo is really kicking in and my immune system is down, down, down….pretty tired. It looks like this is going to be similar to what I was feeling last June, sick…for 14 or so days. Then comes the part that is the very unknown; How will my “new” immune system interact with my body? Will it come in and take charge? Will my body reject it? This is the “wait and see” part of the game. I am pretty nervous about the whole thing so I am going to just go straight to the scripture today……..Amen! Probably won’t write for a few days.
God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Psalm 46:5
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20
"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10
Terry,
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Please keep your faith.
(Isaiah 58:8 NKJV) Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
Love, Barbara

ReplyDeleteWe were so glad to get AJ's message that all went well yesterday, day 0. You were in our thoughts all day with well wishes abounding. We will keep the positive, healing thoughts flowing through the coming weeks -- and hope that your recovery from this transplant is not too difficult for you.
ReplyDeleteAll those meds!! How do you keep track of them all? Just another testiment to all the effort that is going in to help you beat this once and for all.
Big hugs to you and to all those who are beside you through all of this (AJ, those great kiddos of yours, Martha, Linda/Joan, and of course Pam).
P.S. The quilt is just beautiful, in so many ways. What a lovely, heartfelt gift.
